Trying to make sense of RNA-seq data by ranking the values
RNA-seq expression results have dimension that is much more than the number of samples and the datasets is typically noisy and confounded. The reasonable scenario of interpreting the stuff is to look for some simple rules. Pairwise comparisons (ranks, in other words) are intuitive and simple, and here we present a zoo of their applications of the expression (or similar) data.
